FORMER LEANER VISITS SENZILE

Dr Ratstsi Tadi, a former learner of Senzile visited the school to motivate learners and encourage them to follow their dreams.

He was in the most successful class at Senzile. The class off 2000 obtained a 97,8% pass rate and went on to be in the Top 50 schools in the Free State. This performance resulted in the school collecting various awards.

This achievement is as yet  to matched by any other

group at the school. Dr Tadi is now a Dentist and is based in Manapo Hospital, Qwaqwa.

CRIME AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

Me Setlhare (CPF), Const Sereetsi and Sgt Moataung visited Senzile

to address learners about the dangers of engaging in crime

ACADEMIC PARADE & PRAYER DAY

Senzile hosted a successful Prayer Day and Academic Parade at the Uniting Reformed Church (URC) on the 5th August 2010. The guest speaker was Dr Mhlathini Tshabalala who is an SMGD in the Fezile Dabi education district. Our former SMGD Mr Tebi Khoabane was also there and as usual came more than prepared to deliver a powerful message to the community.

Life Skills Summit

The Debating Team attended a two day Life Skills Summit at Tikwe Lodge, Virginia on the 20th and 21st August. Their mentor, the industrious Mr Lesareng Makoko accompanied them on this trip and confirms that it is an event that is unlikely to be forgotten as it added a lot of value to the public speaking capacity of the team.

Cleaning Campaign

Mr Mohau Sereetsi (SGB member and Traffic Officer), Me Keitumetse Sebolai(SGB Chairperson), Mr Radile (Principal), Me Motswakhumo (HOD: Economic and Management Sciences) and community members volunteered to keep the school and its surroundings clean.

Mike Mangena visits Senzile

The renowned South African soccer legend Mike "Sporo" Mangena visited Senzile as part of the preparations of the School's Soccer World Cup.

Senzile won the right to participation by virtue of being the regional winners. There were 32 schools in the tourmnament
